From 2019 until 2024 Somaliland Community Action Network, implemented different projects in the village of Boodhley. These projects were funded by the WFP. The projects have the following main components: soil water conservation for (Soil Bunds), Locust Intervention, Fruit and Vegetable distribution, Dum rehabilitation and relief projects for family ration. The body is formed 100MX100M wide. The water is full part of dam. The right section of the dam is in relatively good condition with the exception rain upsent, and low rain runoff. The entire area of the reservoir is covered with deposited material that form a layer of chemerin (Plastic) with hard thickness is cover all inside dam. The project had been designed to strengthen capacity community livelihood consist Soil Bunds Soil Contours, Dam Rehabilitation at Boodhley Village to integrate Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) into development framework and planning, support the development of alternative climate climate-resilient livelihood options for subsistence farmers as well as improve productive irrigation infrastructure so that agricultural productivity is not constrained under changing conditions. Quality of project investments is generally good, which are likely to sustain benefits for several years. However, sustainability/exit plan was not prepared and operation and maintenance and repair arrangements are mostly informal. Several interventions such as food processing centers, solar dryers, raisin drying rooms, honey bee-keeping were designed to benefit women, which resulted in increase in their incomes. Women were socially organized to support each other. Communities and districts giving greater role to women were rewarded.
