  Our Vision: SCAN recognizes that effectively utilizing vast amounts of data is essential for informed decision-making. Our organizational structure includes a General Assembly, Board of Directors, and a management team overseen by an Executive Director. We maintain a main office and regional branches, adopting a collaborative partnership approach with government bodies, UN agencies, and international organizations. Our vision is to create a society free from poverty, where individuals are socially and economically self-reliant and aware of their basic rights and human dignity.

GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE

SCAN originally began operations in all regions of Somaliland, focusing primarily on low-income households. Over the past few years, the organization has significantly expanded its geographic reach, aided by initiatives and support from diaspora and international agencies. SCAN now operates across various Somaliland regions, including Waqooyi-Galbeed, Awdal, Sahil, Togdher, Sool, and Sanaag. Our registration with the Ministry of Planning and Development (MOP&D) enables us to work throughout Somaliland, ensuring we meet the needs of our diverse beneficiary base.
