Gabiley, Somaliland from October 2024 to April 2025, the Climate Smart Food System Project has empowered 100 smallholder farmers in Arabsiyo District such Huluuq, Biyo-Macaan, Agamsaha Villages with climate-smart agricultural practices, sustainable production techniques, and income-generating opportunities. Funded by the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and implemented by the Somaliland Community Action Network (SCAN), the initiative has transformed local food systems and improved livelihoods.
